Jewish Youth for Community Action
Jewish Youth for Community Action (JYCA) is a youth led social justice education and organizing group. High school age youth engage in peer-led workshops, affinity spaces and community organizing campaigns over the course of a school year.
By participating in roughly 12 peer led workshops and 4 peer led retreats over the course of a school year, as well as regular committee meetings, JYCA youth grow the organization’s organizing, education and community potential. JYCA staff support youth through this process using the JYCA Youth Led Model, with the goal of connection, belonging, service and action.
