Detroit Jews for Justice utilizes the tools of community organizing strong coalition building to make life in Michigan more sustainable, equitable, and joyous for all, with a particular emphasis on women, people of color, low-income workers, the unemployed, LGBTIQ folks, immigrants, and others struggling against systemic bias. DJJ draws on the richness of Jewish traditions, history, beliefs, and culture to deepen and sustain their work.
